I will dedicate this page to things that are important in the dog world and my thoughts on some of it.
Of utmost importance currently, is the APHIS ruling, that negatively affects many breeders of pets. As I am a very small dog breeders, I’m honestly not sure how it affects me as a puppy raiser, but it does affect me as a puppy or dog buyer. Under the new rulings, unless the breeder is registered with the USDA, you can not sell an animal unless it is face to face. My understanding is pretty much as the buyer you have to go pick the animal up where it was raised. A lot of this is very unclear, and there are plans in motion to create a junction against this ruling, especially as it is so unclear.
For those who want to learn more about it, this website has a lot of up-to-date information: Keep Your Domestic Animals
I will do my best to keep this subject current as things progress. This WILL affect you if you want to purchase a new pet from miles away, as you will now be forced to go pick it up unless the breeder is registered. I personally do not EVER want to register with the USDA. I do not trust them and would fear for my safety as well as the safety of my animals.
