Big and exciting news for Rat Race Rat Terriers! One of my puppy buyers, Duncan, called me a few weeks back asking about the possibility of breeding his girl Cricket (Josie from the Lil’ Ranchin’ Hercules and my EmmaLee’s 2014 litter) to a breeder’s dogs that I had recommended to him, Clan Clark. Duncan and family arrived at the Clark’s and the Clarks immediately fell in love with Cricket. The boy they chose is Clan Clark’s Diesel. He is a bit smaller than some of the Clan Clark Ratties, but to me that will be perfect for Cricket. I will update how she is doing as I find out. The puppies will be whelped in FL, but I believe they are coming back to CO with the pups later on. I will do my best to keep updates here.
ALSO, my friend Renate has let me know that she plans on breeding Buck and Star sometime in January, 2016, so will have puppies available late spring, early summer. Buck comes from my kennel and is out of EmmaLee and by Guero. Star is out of Dereth Wylie’s Bear Tuff Kennels, where I bought EmmaLee. Their previous litter turned out really nice, with some deep, rich dark chocolates included. If you live in the WI, MN and MI area, this would be an excellent opportunity for you to get a pup. Both dogs are nice size standards, so puppies should also mature to around 16″-18″.
I have found out about another litter, not of my breeding, but the sire is from my EmmaLee’s sire’s line. This litter will be in central UT. I have to check, but I think the sire to this litter is the son of EmmaLee’s uncle. Although I haven’t seen them in person, the photographs show really nice looking dogs. If I wasn’t so full up with 6 Ratties, I’d be really tempted on these litters to get a puppy each! I expect some really nice pups out of each one of these litters and look forward to seeing them.
