Ok, today is the first day of my puppies formal education. Not sure how it’ll all go, but I’m starting to train them on basic obedience, such as ‘sit,’ ‘down,’ and ‘come.’ They seem to know the come command fairly well, given that they are pups. I will also start working them individually in trailing (find it!), fetch and leash work. Not a whole lot of varmints around here to train on, but I am taking them out to the field when I irrigate, so they’ll start finding field mice to practice on.
