Thor is the only puppy to remain here as his owner couldn’t make it out last weekend, so he’s getting a bit of one on one time with us and momma Sammie. My husband has been taking him out with him when he irrigates, which he really loves. He wants to run with the big dogs while they are out hunting. Last night I took some of the dogs with me to the ‘dobies, along with Thor, for a short walk. He, of course, loved it, although he couldn’t decide if he should stay with me or go with Sammie and Joy!
He’s doing well with house breaking. A few accidents, but that’s to be expected. But they are becoming fewer. Hoping he’s got the hang of it by this weekend!
I have him sitting before I feed him his breakfast and dinner, and he’s getting good at that. Never did like a dog that jumps up on the bowl and knocks everything all over the place, so all of my dogs sit before I put their food bowl down. I figure its a good habit to get into for Thor. Hopefully start some manners early.
Everyone is very pleased with their puppies and they are adapting to their new situations. It always amazes me how quickly they adapt and go with the flow.
